Jenkins Sisters singing at Mesquite, TX at Rodeo City Music Hall, on gospel night. Mom went with us and heard us sing for the first time without Brent. She told us she was “AMAZED” how good we sounded, and was so proud of us. The positive feed back we are getting is very encouraging. We sang with several other groups and were the only duet. We are ready to put 2007 behind us and see what God has in store for 2008. Are you expecting great things from Him this year? We are. We are basically starting over with a name change (We are now officially Jenkins Sisters again), new bio, new CD in the making, new songs, different vehicle, and a new attitude. God is good! Angie & I love the Holidays and we got to see all our family except Kendyll and his family. We sent gifts to them in MS. We even got to spend around 15 minutes with Brent and exchanged gifts with him. We will always love him as family. I hear he sang some Christmas songs with his girlfriend, Angela Long. A Look Back At 2007 Newsletters
Of all the wonderful things that happened in 2007, seeing people respond to the call of a Loving Father, and come to an altar is the best highlights of the year. We praise God for each one. A list of helpers for 2007
As I have stressed in the past, we could not make it on the offerings from the small churches we sing at. We depend on our faithful supporters so much. You will never know how much of a blessing you have been to our ministry. You invest each month in the souls that are won and your reward will be great in heaven. We try to pray for each of you as we fold and mail the newsletters. No gift is too small and no effort wasted. Our hearts are full of gratitude for all of you.
We sang for one of our faithful supporters, Barbara Moore, at Radiant Life in Grand Prairie.
Our friend, Olivia, graduated from TCU college and most of our church, House of Prayer, came to support her. Way to go girl!
Our pastor, Rev. Dathan Wedel, loved the home made goodies Angie made for him. She is famous for her cooking.
Mamaw Jenkins hand made aprons for her grandchildren this year. Her hands are knarled with arthritis, so it made it more special to all of them. Pictured here is: Kristen McDonald, Kylie Jenkins, Katelyn McDonald, Courtney McDonald, Heather McDonald, and Ranessa Hendrix. We had around 20 here for Christmas Eve. Our home was crowded with Love.
Only 15 of us were at the New Year's Eve service in Lewisville. We had singing/church for 3 hours & prayed in the new year. We were on the Power Point here.
Brent ran sound for the Hendrix Trio's Christmas Homecoming where Angie & I sang duet. He told us we did good. We sang one of our new songs. We are so thankful for those who have prepaid
Thanks to all of you for helping get our new CD recorded. At this point, we are still choosing songs and a title for it. Some of you sent suggestions such as:
Since the Holidays are over, we'll return our focus on getting this new CD out. Clint is still working on his new studio and should have it ready in a few days. Pray for the new recording. We are still selecting songs and are working on another new one this week. I can't wait! Upcoming Concerts
We love you all, |
