Angie & Nella Jenkins

Jenkins Sisters singing at Mesquite, TX at Rodeo City Music Hall, on gospel night. Mom went with us and heard us sing for the first time without Brent. She told us she was “AMAZED” how good we sounded, and was so proud of us. The positive feed back we are getting is very encouraging. We sang with several other groups and were the only duet.

We are ready to put 2007 behind us and see what God has in store for 2008. Are you expecting great things from Him this year? We are. We are basically starting over with a name change (We are now officially Jenkins Sisters again), new bio, new CD in the making, new songs, different vehicle, and a new attitude. God is good!

Angie & I love the Holidays and we got to see all our family except Kendyll and his family. We sent gifts to them in MS. We even got to spend around 15 minutes with Brent and exchanged gifts with him. We will always love him as family. I hear he sang some Christmas songs with his girlfriend, Angela Long.

A Look Back At 2007 Newsletters

  • January/February was abut our last gospel singing cruise with Templeton Tours. After 10 years, it is time for a break. Nella turned 50!
  • March/April we told about taking Mom to LA to visit old friends and MS to see Kendyll's family. Landen, 7 took Mamaw riding in a go cart!
  • May was about our west coast tour, one of our favorites. My favorite stop was the Victorian Rose Bed & Breakfast in Ventura, CA, where we were blessed with 2 nights free lodging.
  • June/July found us flooded here in the country. We had extensive damage in our storage buildings.
  • August we celebrated Brent's 13th anniversary with us and did a tribute to him.
  • September was letting you know Brent left & found us with the challenge of returning to duet. We got to sing on NQC's regional showcase, a highlight.
  • October we let go of the bus and downsized to our car. We acquired a BOSE sound system which proved to be the best sound system we've ever had. (email me if you want to buy one)
  • November, we went back into the studio after 4 years, and started CD #17. We are excited! We also headlined the LA state fair, and was at the SW Festival in Kerrville. We celebrated Angie's BD.
  • December's news was all about the New Mexico trip, where I was instantly healed of staph infection.

Of all the wonderful things that happened in 2007, seeing people respond to the call of a Loving Father, and come to an altar is the best highlights of the year. We praise God for each one.

As I have stressed in the past, we could not make it on the offerings from the small churches we sing at. We depend on our faithful supporters so much. You will never know how much of a blessing you have been to our ministry. You invest each month in the souls that are won and your reward will be great in heaven. We try to pray for each of you as we fold and mail the newsletters. No gift is too small and no effort wasted. Our hearts are full of gratitude for all of you.

We sang for one of our faithful supporters, Barbara Moore, at Radiant Life in Grand Prairie.

Our friend, Olivia, graduated from TCU college and most of our church, House of Prayer, came to support her. Way to go girl!

Our pastor, Rev. Dathan Wedel, loved the home made goodies Angie made for him. She is famous for her cooking.

Mamaw Jenkins hand made aprons for her grandchildren this year. Her hands are knarled with arthritis, so it made it more special to all of them. Pictured here is: Kristen McDonald, Kylie Jenkins, Katelyn McDonald, Courtney McDonald, Heather McDonald, and Ranessa Hendrix. We had around 20 here for Christmas Eve. Our home was crowded with Love.

Only 15 of us were at the New Year's Eve service in Lewisville. We had singing/church for 3 hours & prayed in the new year. We were on the Power Point here.

Brent ran sound for the Hendrix Trio's Christmas Homecoming where Angie & I sang duet. He told us we did good. We sang one of our new songs.
