Do you like our new web design...

Howdy from Texas & Happy Spring.

We trust you all had a wonderful Easter. We sure did. We were up at 3:30 and singing at 6:00 AM. I wasn´t sure 6:00 came 2 times a day, but it does and one comes early. LOL

Brand New Touch hosted it and around 150 people showed with blankets. Some motorcycle riders came and left their lights blinking in the pre-dawn and it was beautiful. The natural rock formation and cave was perfect for reminding us of Golgotha and the empty tomb. The local radio aired it and we sang till the sun arose. We had a little calico cat attend service too! Our Bose sound system, which you all helped pray in for us, filled that mountain and valley and still wasn´t turned up but half way. The whole experience was just awesome.

I got to finally go camping for my birthday. Rhonda, sis #4 likes to celebrate her birthday with camping too, so we combined and camped at Tyler State park. Since we do not have an RV anymore, Rhonda and family provided us a tent and set it up for us. We stayed 2 nights, one of which stormed and rained with us in the tent. Some prayers were flying fast as the wind was blowing...LOL.

Angie woke when the storm hit and was getting our suitcases inside the tent and I woke up to help her. She says (don´t believe everything she says about me) before I got good and awake, I pitched the fan out the door. I still think she is just telling tall tales!

But it was so good to rest and relax and spend time with family. Mom, Angie and Rhonda are excellent cooks, so we ate like kings. I do dishes pretty good and can stir the campfire taters without burning them most of the time, so I was allowed near the cooking area. Bobby, Ryan and Ranessa kept the fire going and worked like pioneers. Rhonda´s husband, Bobby, is about to decide he likes camping out after all. If it didn´t involve Southern Gospel music, he wasn´t interested in it at first. There were some banjo pickers who serenaded us one night. The raccoons kept us company too.

It was good to see distant family at our cousin´s wedding. Gayla Guthrie, Judy sis #2, Uncle Jerry, who has come back to the Lord lately, me and Mom are pictured here.

Well, CD pre-payers, and sponsors, we are a little closer to completion. After listening to the finished copy of CD #18, Angie and I decided it needed more songs. So, we ask Brent to record vocals on 3 songs. We already had the tracks paid for, in his key, before he quit in September, so all we had to do was pay for recording time. ($60.00 per hour). He graciously agreed to record them with us, so the CD will feature Brent Gregg and Momma Jenkins as guest vocalists. We are excited and are now waiting for that mix to come in the mail, then we can send it off for duplication.

We are trying to nail down a time with Clint at Texas Sound Factory to finish CD #17 & get our pictures made for the covers. We´ve had to cancel because of bad weather (8"of snow here in Aurora!) and Mom´s stay in the hospital delayed us some. But all that is behind us and we are back on track.

Thanks again for your patience.

Some of you sent more than $15 for a CD and we thank you for that as well.

Remember we take credit cards. We are also booking for 2008. If you want us to come to your area, we still travel on a love offering basis. When you call us, that´s our way of knowing where God wants us for sure. We pray for His guidance every day and phone calls remove the guess work. Give Angie a call today! Cell 817-821-2368 or email her at angie76117@yahoo.com

We´ve had so many of you encourage us on getting another RV, one small enough for us girls to handle, yet big enough to have a mobile office and save motel bills. Thanks for the prayers. At this point, it looks impossible, but prayer changes things and we´ve heard of other groups being blessed with big gifts such as van´s, RV´s or buses. So, keep believing with us.

We´ve hired a new web master, and she has uploaded our site. If any of you have suggestions, now would be a great time to email them to us. We´ve not had good success with our web site for pastors to download bios and pictures, so we´re hoping this problem will be fixed.
