Happy Beautiful Day to You!

It's so pretty outside, I'm finding it hard to work in-doors. The sunshine calls me. Mom and I have planted a garden with tomatoes, radishes, peppers, onions, radishes, squash, okra, radishes, beans, peas and more radishes. I haven't been able to find long white radishes for the last several years, so when I saw them at Wal-Mart, I bought 7 packages and planted all 700 seeds. Mom told me later, I should have spaced them out over sever al weeks, so all of them wouldn't be ready to eat at once. Now she tells me! I have a feeling I'm gonna be radish - sick by mid-summer.

Happy Mother's Day to all you Mother's and our precious mom, Joyce Jenkins. At 78 she gets around good and still drives fast. She loves riding her 4 wheeler, and taking care of her chickens and garden. She and Dad had 7 children, all of which are going to church. She managed to get all of them married off, except Angie and me, and prays for all 7 of us daily. She loves to travel with us when she can. We've ask her to pray and dedicate this new CD to the Lord. Enjoy the pictures of her. There's more on the back and on our web site www.jenkinssisters.com.

We had a good trip to LA. We were only gone 4 days, and Mom went with us. We drove her car, since there's no room for her in ours. We enjoyed seeing the Higgins family, long ago friends, who own a fish dock. The treated us wonderful and fed us some cajun cooking.....YUM.

At Pottsboro, the pastor was so funny. He said one old maid told them she had scripture for not getting married. When ask which scripture, she quoted "I would not have you ignorant brethren!" He's also the one who told me he was on a cheeseburger diet. The other diets didn't work, so he's trying this one out and it's working really good. I loved it!

We now have satellite internet. We can get our work done so much faster. We've been needing this for 13 years and finally was able to get it installed out here in the country. We are up to speed with the rest of the world.

Have you visited our new web site www.jenkinssisters.com? Christine is our new web master and she's making it look good. The media area and pastor's info is getting easier to download and use for posters. If you have a radio in your area, send us their address and we'll send them our web site info. They can get a CD too, by request.

she instantly puts it to work.

on our way out, after giving us a wonderful
bed & breakfast for our trip.

It's here. It has arrived. Finally a finished CD ! We are so excited to have #18 (which now has a name) ready to be shipped out. Those who sponsored or prepaid for this project, will receive your copy 1st. The official name is "Thank God for My Christian Home". Our mom, Joyce Jenkins, sang that song on this CD, so we named it in honor of her. (Just in time for Mother's Day. How 'bout that?) Brent Gregg did vocals on 3 songs and did good. It contains 12 songs total. We are now gonna try to finish #17, which may take a few more months. Our engineer for that one, Clint Sturgeon, has been in Nashville recording vocals with Cadillac SKy, a bluegrass group. Also, this is his busy season with his water system business, so it maybe on hold for a few months.

We are still praying and asking for prayer for a Gas Engine RV. We want one small enough for us girls to take care of and not cost so much at the gas pump, but large enough to save on motel bills. We've curtailed our tours until this problem can be fixed. We've missed seeing some of you this year. It will be our first year to miss the West Coast Tour in several years and it's sad not seeing you all. But I would have to strap Angie on top and she's allergic to so much of the outdoors, that may not be a good thing.

We're still praying for you prayer requests. We've already got good reports and answers on some things we've been praying for.

WE KNOW GOD STILL ANSWERS PRAYER.
We still need our car fixed on the left side, where the equipment has broke a spring. It sets crooked, so we sit with our head tilted a bit. It's ok for us, but when we sing, everyone else tries to tilt too. We're getting drunk on the tilt-a-whirl ride!
