Howdy! Hope your summer heat is cooler
than 107*. This Texas heat is a killer! The okra loves it, so I've picked lots of
that. Everything else is begging for rain.
WOW. God has done some amazing
things since last newsletter.
Our transmission went out on our 1995
car, we travel in. The cost was almost
2600.00. We took it to the Lord in prayer,
and ask for prayer from our InJesus.com
(jenkinsandcompany-subscribe@MyInJesus.com) mailing list.
You all prayed and John from TX gave
$1000.00 to the church where we sang
that AM. The church blessed us with the
$1000.00, and that only left $1600.00 We
all kept praying, and the Stoltzfus Family
from Iowa sent an email saying they wanted
to pay the balance. WOW. What a miracle!
In the mean time, we borrowed our sister,
Judy's SUV to take Mom with us on the
10 day NM trip. On the way home, her
alternator went out and we were stranded
on the side of the road for almost 2 hours.
But we had a nice Policeman help us until
a wrecker service towed us to a motel.
We ask the B & B wrecker driver if anyone
was open in Pecos, TX on Sunday to
fix the alternator. No one was, but he told
us he was a mechanic.
So, the next AM, Peter shows up with his
tools. We bought the $200.00 part and he
put it on. When we went to pay him, he
tells us he wants to bless us with his labor
and wouldn't let us pay him. We gave
him a CD and he shared the story of how
his Grandfather helped build the Baptist
church in Pecos. WOW, another miracle,
