Riveted Suspender Ends (Pair)

Riveted Suspender Ends (Pair)

These suspender ends feature a matched set of original 1855 patent buckles. Hand cut vegtable tanned leather ends with hand set hollow rivets. This particular method of securing ends became common practice starting in the mid 1840s and can be seen in several early suspender patents. I also have a wonderful example in my personal collection dug outside petersburg. These will fit a 1 inch webbing. * These can be made on reproduction buckles in a larger 1.25/1.5 size *
