Sheath Knife And Fork Combo
This reproduction is patterned from an original 19th century fork and knife combo in the collection of Chris Utley of South Union Mills. The style started with Samuel Wragg of Sheffield, England, who patented this combination in the early 1850s. Several manufacturers went on to copy this design and at least one American company was offering them in the 1860s. as well as numerous English companies. When closed, the combo is approx. 8 inches long, 3/8 inches tall, and 13/16 inches wide. The handle is made from rosewood, as per originals, and the carbon steel fork and knife are held in place by pins, as per many of the originals. Reproduced By Chris Utley of South Union Mills.
